Bambietta Basterbine is a Quincy and a member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation E: The Explode. She is also the self-appointed leader of the Sternritter's female members. Although she is an elite Quincy under Yhwach's command, Bambietta feels a deep emptiness and loneliness within her soul (something that severely weakens her). Taking advantage of her weakness, a very low-level soldier from the Quincy ranks challenges her to a duel, where Bambietta is shamefully defeated. Defeated, Bambietta was forced to grant a wish to this man, who only wanted one thing: to have sex with her. Reluctantly, Bambietta gave in and ended up discovering that her life as Quincy no longer made sense... that the real reason for her existence was to serve as a sperm dump and give birth to the child of a weak and irrelevant soldier.
