Male and female characters
Added 2022-08-18 07:05:21 +0000 UTCI forgot to put the option "I don't care" and it's not possible to put another option or edit an already made one. Just leave it in the comments.
I want to know how many male and female characters do you prefer per month
I will start applying from next month. This weekend I will start polls for next month's projects

I'm SO glad we're on the same page. π

2022-08-19 21:06:00 +0000 UTCI 2nd that idea! Plus, it helps to work on something you're actually passionate about in the long run. π Maybe we could get our LOTR set that way..... **cough cough

2022-08-19 21:03:49 +0000 UTCI love that idea. I think Patreon should be lead more by the artist than the patrons, as that will keep the artist excited and inspired, instead of becoming a work-for-hire. Also, when you have a collection as examples, people will know what they are paying for, and thus shouldn't feel a need to push the artist a different direction. That said, artists do change over time, which may just mean some patrons will leave, but others will join, liking the newer style. It's all an evolution, but I think the artist should be happy doing it along the way.

2022-08-19 01:40:23 +0000 UTCI'm thinking of leaving an exclusive model of my choice. There are 5 models in total each month, I would reserve one for me to be totally free to choose the character and pose

2022-08-19 01:09:06 +0000 UTCThe more I think about it, the less I want you to worry about this kind of thing. Patreon is kind of an "omakase" system... you serve what you think is cool. I don't think most of us would get pissed if you had one-more-than-normal cool male figure.

2022-08-18 21:04:56 +0000 UTCI think half in half should be fine there plenty of characters to choose from, or one month 3 female and 2 male , and the next month viceversa.

2022-08-18 21:03:41 +0000 UTCI understand, now. Consider me educated. :-) As someone mentioned above, perhaps your resin printer is a bit over-exposing of the layers? I know my printer gave me all manner of strange artifacts until I really, truly, completely dialed it in.

2022-08-18 19:19:46 +0000 UTCThe Big Husband, I appreciate female form with all its nice curves and shapes, thats why i am part of this Patreon too. But I am not taking about curves here. I am talking about "orange skin" texture on a kit. I've been doing resin kits and now printed kits for years and have a very good idea on what I am doing. I am very particular about prepping my kits before painting and not afraid to spend some extra hours to make it look good. One of the reasons why I would never use PLA filament printer- even dialed up perfectly, you can still see the lines. And once again, some people are totally fine with lines and seam lines, but it's not me. I just wanted to bring it up to the group and maybe get it resolved. The more time I have to spend smoothing out the surface, the less kits I get to paint.

2022-08-18 18:26:13 +0000 UTCI paint, print, and sell what "catches my eye"... which, for the most part, seems to be female figures. I'm not exactly a rich-and-famous powerhouse in the industry, though, so that may not be a good business model. :-) I'd be happy with 5/0, but I selected 4/1 because I don't want to look like a pervert.

2022-08-18 18:02:40 +0000 UTCWith all due respect to Annya, I disagree. Women have texture. Fat and muscle and skin all react to gravity and movement. Women should not look like glossy robots, and the fact that CA3D's do not is a big part of why I like to support his work.

2022-08-18 17:59:33 +0000 UTCThis is Strange. Ive printed Pochahontas, Deja, Lady death, and Yennefer all at 1/6 scale without this issue at all. Dimpling can be a cause of slight overexposure though

2022-08-18 14:01:22 +0000 UTCNot much, but I like looking at the female figure more.

2022-08-18 10:28:30 +0000 UTCI prefer female figures, but occasional male is good too. Your designs are very good. My one thing that I wish you would change is remove skin texture from female models. I don't know if it's exactly the texture problem or the way they are made, but when you print them (specifically in the larger scales) they all have bad selulate problems. Not a very attractive thing for gorgeous ladies. I printed a couple of your girls and it took me a hours to smooth out the skin bumps. Once again, I love your designs and it could be just me having this issue, but just wanted to bring this out.

2022-08-18 08:50:05 +0000 UTCyes we miss the option "i don't care"
Tyler's Rose
2022-08-18 08:33:50 +0000 UTCShould be an βI donβt careβ option. I just want cool models. Although if weβre talking the NSFW options than itβs ladies only.

2022-08-18 08:22:58 +0000 UTCDoes it matter? If a figure is cool, What does it matter what gender it is?
