If he watched it, he wouldn't understand why certain things are happening to certain characters. (Especially the newest Brolly Film) Hell, that takes place after the tournment of power, after all of Super and the two movies from that. Let him watch Dragon Ball Z, then Super and watch the movies in the order they are meant to be watched. Imagin if you had only seen up to this point and didn't know about Super Saiyan, 2/3/4/god/SSGSS/Ultra Instinct/Fusion and you just watched the new brolly movie. You wouldn't know why the fuck all of that was happening.
