Should've been Kodama. That's the perfect intro song to the band for them because it's straightforward while still showcasing the balance of melody, heaviness and ethereal layering that has become a staple of Alcest's sound. Ryan has said how much he dislikes the uptempo drum pattern of black metal (not sure if it's considered a blast beat or not) and Kodama has nothing of the sort.
