A nuclear accident in 2054 changed the human genome forever, leading to a chain of events: Surplus births of female babies - civil war of human females for the few remaining fertile males and finally the "Female Slavery Act" of 2118. In short, this law distinguishes between free females and those who were used as slaves for all kinds of activities to maintain the living standards of free humans. Artificial intelligence and robots have had their day - the society of the 22nd century is built on a large number of lawless females who have to toil as servants for an ever-shrinking number of men, a few free women and their pets.
The series “Women in the 22nd Century” shows the diverse situations in which the few happy free women and the countless unfree and disenfranchised females find themselves.
