The boat glided silently over the muddy waters of the jungle river with its precious cargo. She was well aware of the responsibility of the boatwoman's job, for she had to complete the delivery in two days and then return to the outpost of the slave-hunting company - her miserable life depended on it.
The processors, who stayed behind in the camp with the rest of the crew, now had another task, one of the most unpleasant jobs. The newly captured human material also had to be prepared for shipment.
