My Rod Stewart recommendation is very 80s and synth, but I love it: "Young Turks". And of course, the disco-infused "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?", which I'm not sure if you've reacted to. And yes, "Hot Legs" is a fine song. P.S. In the 90s, I used Aerosmith as an example of talented musicians doing very well-crafted crap. It was a bit unfair; some of their songs of the era are fine. But "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" ain't one of them. Go 70s for Aerosmith: basically anything from that era, though my choice is "No Surprize".
