I've always had a soft spot for this band. "Breaking the Chains" spoke to me musically early on for some reason, and "In My Dreams" made watching MTV palatable for a while. I actually like the outro of "Unchain the Night" as it is, with its subtle dramatic transformations. I had never noticed how much Lynch borrowed from David Gilmour in it. From this album, I'm not sure about how you'd respond to "In My Dreams"; I'd suggest "Lightnin' Strikes Again" or "Til the Livin' End", the heaviest tunes in it. But my favorite from them is "Burning Like a Flame", a tight piece of pop metal if there ever was one.
