Yeah it’s forced! I don’t care for that but hey they sold a lot of records and got famous. They did something right. It was massively popular with different people growing up but I remember the sepultura friends hating it!!! All these definitions of oh this is whatever metal…just needs to stop. Metal is metal. Rock is rock. People use this new terminology for some unknown reason. It’s unnecessary and doesn’t change anyone’s mind on what they think sounds good or not. Just leave metal alone. Let it be what it is.
