My suggestions for 70s priest would be “Hell Bent For Leather” and “The Green Manalishi”.. 80’s priest I would say “You’ve got another thing coming”, “Turbo Lover”, and “Some ahead are gonna roll”. 90s I would say “Metal Meltdown” and “Hell Patrol”.. and 2000’s you need to listen to the Nostradamus album particularly the songs Calm before the storm/Nostradamus (listen to these together) if you want a face melter.. and if you want something with a slower tempo but still heavy then I’d recommend “revaluations” off of that same album. Electric eye I feel is not even close to their best stuff so I definitely think you guys should revisit them!

2021-12-22 23:50:10 +0000 UTCBack in '83 (I think) MTv played a night of metal concerts, one of which was a concert from the tour for this album. That night was a turning point for me. I had grown up listening to classic rock (which I still love), but after that night I had become a metalhead. I was 13 years old. Judas priest, along with Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath converted me. I agree (now) that Electric Eye is kind of "generic" for Priest, but at the time it was amazing. I still love the song, but they have many better. Personally, (now)I think their best album was Sad Wings of Destiny. Keep rockin' guys. I really appreciate you. You give new life to these songs that I have been listening to for decades. For your next dive into Priest I highly suggest "Beyond the Realms of Death" AND "Dreamer Deceiver/Deceiver". Both are a bit mellow in parts, but get heavy with that groovy blues/metal sound you guys love!!! Again, thanks for all you do!!!!
