Fluffy McFluffavic Meowski O'Fluffadopolus

+1 to the Megadeth vs Alice.

DaWood

Alice Cooper is a legend and also one hell of a golfer! would love to see you guys try another song by him you may not have heard. Desperado is one of my favorites!

Kristopher Nelson

Great song, also from the movie Dazed And Confused when they are paddling the main character kid after the ball game

Patrick White

Fuck yea

Devin

If you go back to 80s metal, please react to Whitesnake - Slow and Easy.

J B

i have yet to be able to watch a part 1 of any of these videos since they’ve been split up. It always shows as “content unavailable”. Is anyone else having this issue? i can watch part 2 without any issues.

Dan Stonerock

Billion Dollar Babies is way better

Murillo Bianco

Now you guys know how Trump probably feels. Some people only focus on the negative.

Shawn Robert Nunes

Billion Dollar Babies is a better depiction of his craziness...

Laura lynch

Could you guys please react to Hum - Stars? Thanks!

Paul Crane

Alice Cooper definitely has his "eras". I love it all personally. I think you'll both highly enjoy anything off of the albums "Brutal Planet" and "Dragontown". These albums are completely heavy chugging riffs (which you two always groove to in past rock songs). Specific songs in particular, I recommend Feed My Frankenstein, Fantasy Man, Brutal Planet. Love ya'll! Horns Up!

Dustyn Hensley

not 80's...70's...Cooper is a 70's guy

MAC

I could get behind some Social D

Justin Buchanan

Triumph - Fight the good fight!!!!!

brandon mcmanus

thanks for the memory of a dear old friend who has passed on now driving around town with the head of a doll on his antenna that had the blackened Alice Cooper eyes

Anita Melon

Now that you guys got Alice Cooper out of the way it's time for a Rob Zombie/White Zombie reaction I suggest Thunderkiss 65, More Human Than Human, Living Dead Girl, American Witch, Never Gonna Stop

Leo Rivera

Nina Strauss, formerly of the cover band The Iron Maidens

chuck ferguson

"Ball and Chain" by Social Distortion, please.

Dead Mail Tales

Flying start! Please react to North Mississippi Allstars - Long Haired Doney.

Stefan Lien

WOOOOW. I had never seen that before. Not sure I can ever unsee that. 😂

Rob

Yep, it was Ft13th Part VI: Jason Lives, and he also recorded a song for it called “Man Behind the Mask”. It’s cheesy as hell....but I can’t help but love it.

Rob

Savatage - The Hall of the Mountain King -- IT'S A MUST!!

Kevin Fowler

with saint patricks day coming civil war - saint patrick's day. also falconer- emotional skies and/or northwind. and hulkoff -jarfr

jason johnson

I like how you're compromising more in the direction of putting _some_ analysis in the reaction. Probably safer from a fair use standpoint too. But there was enough left over for a good discussion in part II. I think the new format is starting to work better with this episode.

Max Eliaser

I prefer Megadeths version of this.

Keith Reeves

If you want to checkout something truly unique and amazing give Nightwish Ghost Love Score a listen. I was blown away by it.

Andrew winick

oh and mettallica st. anger

glenn currans

Jai Jeffers

Did you guys ever see the Staples Back to School commercial with Alice Cooper? LOL https://youtu.be/7Cp_JKf7KYA

Jack D

love the vegas backdrop

shawn wayne sikes

You Can't Kill Rock-N-Roll would be awesome!

Pepper

This is a classic and Megadeth does a nice cover of it as well.

Pepper

I think you guys should give My Morning Jacket a listen. They have a lot of different influences from psychedelic rock to country and southern rock. I think you would really enjoy them. Dondante or Steam Engine would be a good first listen.

Keith Morrissey

Great reaction to a classic ! Yall should do an Alter Bridge poll too ! Why not ?!? Ha

Brandon Hagmann

My brush with fame. Grocery shopping with Alice at the local ABCO. He's well known as a nice guy. Also stood next to him in line at Subway..I was thinking who is this strange little grandpa that needs a haircut. Then he started talking and I'm like Ohhhh it's Alice again. Nevermind

Mike Rea

No need for a Judas Priest poll. Just review Riding on the Wind. Come on guys. DO THE NEEDFUL.

Kris Bullock

im waiting on a revisit to staind and sevendust slipknot stone sour you know the basics

glenn currans

One of the guitarists of this iteration of the band actually does session work for different musicians. Including my dads band, Southtown Writers (still requesting Don't Give Up On Me, very powerful singing from my dad, and the guitar work is excellent and fitting as well)

Obviously everyone who exists has heard this song. Proof people who vote on these polls are dumb and vote for the only song they’ve heard, screwing over the actual fans who want a really good track to be reacted to.

jamie jones

if you both have heard it why is it reaction not review

Bradley

nice smudges on the laptops what did you do smudge them?

David S. Grop

Man, the sound is great in this video!

Shawn Dixon

That's almost correct although it wasn't Gene Simmons who told him not to deny it, it was Frank Zappa.

Shawn Dixon

Billion Dollar Babies next time please!!! Glad you guys are back :D

Jimmy John Jr.

Gamma Ray - Armageddon!!! Time for some power metal again 🤘🤘🤘

Magnus Andreasen

Billion dollar babies....those words will disturb you...if you get around to it 👊

Word Bubble

He was infamous for ripping the head off a chicken live.........which never happened......someone in the crowd threw it on stage,he thought chickens could fly and threw it back..the crowd tore it apart....when he went to deny the reporting of it being him...Gene Simmons from KISS told him not to deny it..and it'll be the best thing that happened to him.....and it was ,that contributed to the shock rock being real,lol....one of his " urban legends......I always thought that was cool !!

Word Bubble

Yeah that was school's out.....poison was his comeback and attempt at glam....people liked it because it was Alice Cooper but that's about it...it was also in Friday the thirteenth 9 or some shit (nah it was probably Jason returns ) anyway his show....the guillotine...that shit....what,that shit there.....amazing !!!!

Word Bubble

Vein - Doomtech

ProgPro96

Kalmah- Towards the Sky

Eminence

MIKASA BY VEIL OF MAYA

Jake 'Outrage'

I like that you talk a little about the background and history! Keep it up!

Lynnetta Castle

Iiiiit's driving meeeeee outta my miiiiiind... LOL

Joe Day

There's one movie that you have most certainly seen that features both this song and "School's Out": Dazed And Confused. "School's Out" plays when school is dismissed on the last day, duh, and "Mr. Nice Guy" plays during the hazing scene, when the senior girls are squirting ketchup and mustard and shit all over the freshman girls.

Joe Day

that girl is poison... poison ... poison... Shit gets stuck in my head almost immediately.

moobang

Judas Priest? Where is some OZZY AND RANDY!!!!! Come on fellas.... LOLOLOL

Joey Ferretta

GUYS GUYS GUYS You can not go see Alice Cooper at a poolside venue!!!!! You have to go to the concert venue and see him. I don't care how you get there but the next time he is in Vegas. You go. You will never see a show quiet like his. It has tamed downed over the years, but it's epic! He never disappoints. And his female guitarist will blow your fucking mind!!!!

Joey Ferretta

Nice Wayne's World reference :D

Scoss Tard

I think a lot of folks have heard more Alice Cooper than they think, much like the Blue Oyster Cult. Alice Cooper was an obvious prototype for the acts that everyone from King Diamond to Marilyn Manson and beyond bring us today... his 70's stage shows still look fresh, shocking, and ahead of their time even today.

Pietyr Ayday

No proper metalhead can resist taking a few cheapshots at hair metal, but I think most of us have a few Hair Metal guilty pleasures in our playlist somewhere....

Pietyr Ayday

I think we've all been there - our parents warned us this day would come, and they were right! ('Cause they've been here, too!)

Pietyr Ayday

YEAP, that's "school's out" all right

Rodrigo Muñoz

Great video. Had a feeling you've heard that song. No problem. Since Alice has had many different chapters in his career I tend to embrace from the cheese of the 80's to the darker turn of the 90's and 00's. Just saw Alice last year in Chicago as the headliner and he did the full stage production. Like Rob Zombie says "Usually I think I'm the first but Alice already did it. I'm completely ripping him off". The song on my playlist from the 00 era of Alice is "Gimmie". Very dark, heavy, great lyrics that tell the universal story of selling your soul to the devil. Great song live.

Peter J Brown

Great video as always. Just an idea. How about one day do hair metal reactions. There are sooooo many big songs and bands. Warrant, Skid row, Poison, Europe, Tesla and many more. This was an important time for Rock. It was really a golden age when you look at popularity of genres. Rock was at the top then.

Daniel Lindsey

Digging the new format! Thanks for the Alice!!

Jaye Dilts

I thought I was the only one! Sorry those mic's were distracting. Your eyes are just drawn to it.

Micah J.

Don’t know which one to comment under! Hah! Solid song. One thing that I need you guys to understand is rock of the late 70s, 80s, and early 90s for the most part was made to have fun. On top of it you have your love ballad sap and your thrash and metal, metal. These bands as players all have immense talent that is lacking somewhat it today’s rock. To use the word cheese, is wrong. Reason why I’m saying that is because the songs of today are cheese in the fact that most of the newer stuff is simply structured and quite frankly boring. Not to say I dislike it or dislike all of it, just putting into comparison- today’s rock generally rely on one note, one finger playing with the occasional bar chord vs. rock in the day which utilize 4 and 5 finger playing, chord progressions and various other things. That said... always can’t wait to see what’s next. You mentioned Judas Priest. Priest is another with multiple eras of the band. Some tracks worth seeking votes: the Sentinel, Jawbreaker, Eat Me Alive, Grinder, Sinner, Firepower, Bloodstone, Bullet Train. Looking forward to the polls!

Big Dave

I'm not sure what song you reviewed, but all I can see now is wobbly mics everywhere.

Janne Jaakola

Shadows Fall - Dead and Gone

Maneatingpie

Love you guys!!!!

Marianne Jacobsen

I met Alice Cooper in 1990. I have a picture of him and me, but I don’t show it to a lot of people because of the way I looked 29 years ago. With my bad mullet, glasses and mustache I was very confused on the style I was going for. I mean, do you know how bad you have to look to be in a picture with Alice Cooper and YOU’RE the scary looking one???

Jamie Laszlo

Over/under on who will be y'all's first guest... Stapleton would be dope

DJ King

A couple of good ones that weren't brought up were "Cold Ethel" and "Only Women Bleed". I know they wouldn't have won, but wanted to mention them if you wanted to check them out outside of the channel.

Keith Jones

you don't have to justify it, either. the song is great.

Anthony Kerr

Ah yes, the granddaddy of Shock Rock; love me some Alice Cooper. A suggestion from the genre (and a band you've listened to before!): Gwar - Metal Metal Land.

Greg Popovich

Loving the new format. Hoping you revisit Queensryche (Empire / Walk in the Shadows) and Tesseract (Hexes / Juno) sometime soon.

Anthony Kerr

If you've seen the movie Dazed and Confused, that could be where you've heard this. They do a whole montage with this song playing.

Christofer Clay

That melody was Cherry Pie by Warrant. "She's my, cherry pie!" You know it.

Justin Vaughan

Really wanted I'm 18, oh well.

Joshua Webb

Oh yeah, love the new format, and I think your ideas for the podcast are excellent. Upwards and onwards, and here's to hoping you can quit your day jobs!

Justin Vaughan

Megadeth covered this, it could qualify for your covers vs originals theme. And now for my obligatory request that you react to Epica. As always, nearly any song of theirs would do but my recommendation is for The Cosmic Algorithm because it hits all the marks on what I know that YOU guys like about metal, and is therefore the perfect introduction to Symphonic Metal, which is a genre yet to be experienced by Lost in Vegas.

Justin Vaughan

Megadeth does a really good cover of this song!!
