Some sweet reward art from https://twitter.com/boofiteh delayed by some computer issues. Dipping back into my rarely used, much loved Christmas magical girl. There was a cute scene in chapter 2 I really wanted to see and y'all voted for it, so enjoy.
Included both her transformation outfit and her actual sleep clothes. She deserves more than I write for her once a year!
Also be on the lookout for a bunch of bonus art coming up.
As it all turned out, Chrissy didn’t have to do much to keep spirits bright around her. The curvy magical girl with her candy cane-colored hair and revealing winter clothes was a fresh reminder of the season. Even just going out to eat (where they settled on Rudy eating most of her salad), her reindeer sidekick confirmed on his jollyometer that local Christmas cheer was already higher than it had been in nearly a decade. If it meant dressing a little scantily, she had to figure that was worthwhile.
As she was wrapping up eating, Chrissy saw a family eating together. A couple with a pair of rosy-cheeked and excited-looking kids barely able to sit still. She looked at her hands before turning to them and waiting until the parents addressed the waiter before she pointed a finger gun at their table.
“Perfect Gift Poof!” she attempted. With a puff of snow-colored smoke, a pair of wrapped presents appeared in the empty spot at the end of the table. The kids looked back just to be visibly blown away, jumping up and down in their seats.
“It’s really that easy,” Chrissy noted brightly. “This is great! My friends always told me I had a gift for finding the perfect gift!”
“Well don’t go breakin’ your back over it,” Rudy shrugged. “Magic input’s been fine. This is all icing on the Christmas cake at this point. Raising too much will probably bring in more trouble like those ice elves from earlier.”
“So what? They can’t hurt me, and I’ve got the power to make people feel better. What’s the point in not using it?” Chrissy smiled brightly as she got up to leave. She made a few more happy flicks of her fingers, making presents poof into existence on a few other unsuspecting tables.
“Ah, whateva. You’re the chosen one of Christmas.” Rudy yawned as he stayed perched on her shoulder, posing as a stuffed animal while she snuck him bites of food. “But I’m beat. You got a stable or somethin’ I can crash in?”
“No. I just have an apartment. But there’s plenty of room in the bed for you.”
“Wait a sec,” Rudy warned, waving his stubby arms. “You got a what now?”
“Apartment,” she repeated. “Like a couple rooms in a building.”
“But like indoors, right? Four walls and everything?” Chrissy nodded. “And this bed’s like… straw, right?”
“It’s a mattress. Pillows and blankets… the usual.”
“Son of a bitch!” the reindeer blurted, getting a few odd looks as they entered the street. “My old fashioned parents were like ‘We’ve been in this barn for generations, and you’ll like it.’ Screw that! You’re my best friend ever now!”
Chrissy giggled at his joyous outburst and gave another flick of her finger. A comfy new scarf appeared around a chilly-looking woman’s neck. Another and a few gold coins fell out of the sky into a charity donation bin.
“As long as I’m making people happy, I may as well help you out too.”
With their busy day a success, Chrissy and Rudy went back to her apartment. She finally dismissed her magical outfit and let herself change back into her normal clothes. After a bit of snacking and TV, they gladly went to bed. Chrissy tossed on some festive (if a little tight-fitting) pajamas and collapsed onto her back, soon snoring as Rudy laid flopped on top of her rising and falling breasts.
