The Bully Code Gang Guide

I started keeping a list of random gang names to use in The Bully Code, then started using some of them in the background, then designed a few members... and thought I'd keep a running list. So I stuck together some of the ideas and made this to amuse myself for a while at work.

The Kutakori Nightmare Girls: easily the most powerful gang in the region despite their relatively small numbers. They are rapidly growing lately and are known to enforce their personal code towards bullying, both within their gang and forcing it on others.

Leader: Kumatake "The Goddess of War"

Members: Setsuna “Scissor Blade” “Two-Guns Setsu”, Azuka “The Bazooka”, Ayami “The Pink Devil”, Chihiro “The Iron Enforcer”, Ichiru “The 9 Foot Monster”

Tag/Symbol: a crooked kanji for Nightmare Girls. May be shortened to just Nightmares

Rumble Record: undefeated

Hideout: a repurposed tool shed near an apartment building. Recently acquired.

Frozen Hells: a fairly influential gang before The Nightmare Girls drove them back. Led by Daiyaka, a generally stoic girl in shades who enjoys fighting games. They tend to wear the kanji for Hell somewhere on their clothes.

The Nanpo Vipers: a small but powerful gang led by Ushino, an especially busty mastermind. They once organized every gang in town to team up on The Nightmare Girls, ending in massive failure. They consider themselves the Nightmare Girls’ rivals but they barely recognize them on sight.

The Rockets: a gang in America that operates in Big City. Have their own hideout in an abandoned basement where they pay nerds and would-be victims to serve them. They met The Nightmares on a field trip and because fast friends. Led by Jane, a muscular mohawked punk girl.

The Ghosters: a quiet and gothic gang that mostly keeps to themselves while fiercely defending their territory. Their dark attire and silent demeanor make them excellent at stealth for stealing, ambushes or spying. They respect the reign of the Nightmare Girls and will even perform favors for their superiors when asked. Led by Takane, a raspy-voiced girl in a hoodie and facemask. Their silent nature is apparently not part of their theme so much as their actual lacking social skills or speech impediments that keep them quiet.

Hishako Homeruns: the rough high school baseball team that acts as a gang on the side. They tend to use their ball caps and bats in their battles. Ayami gifted Chihiro one of their bats after their fights to help her look more intimidating. Led by a slim and speedy girl Orashi they refer to as Coach.

The Ganguro Guns: a gang made entirely of ganguro girls, distinct for their bleached hair and overly tanned skin. Largely bimbo bullies who act rebellious but it’s more often because they forgot the rules or territory. The ones that Kumatake famously once threw an entire dumpster at them.

The Seven Sakuras: seven girls from around town named Sakura. It was originally just a few troublemaking friends named Sakura by coincidence but became their theme. They never seem to get confused by their names. Led by Sakura. Azuka has shown herself capable of beating up all seven of them by herself with minimal effort.

The Flashfires: a relatively newly formed gang. Made famous when a fire accidentally started in the science lab and they took the credit for it among their classmates. Keep a fire theme to their clothes. Led by Reika, a noisy, shark-toothed girl with long and wild red hair.

The Toxic Sisters: a gang with more numbers than individual brute strength. They are led by Miki, a slim and serious girl in glasses who fancies herself a yakuza wannabe.

Princesses of Punk: a gang of girls who dye their hair bright and wild colors. Also have a band on the side of the same name. Led by Metal Misiru, a girl who fights with a weighted electric guitar (not her performing one). Kumatake generally likes their music and attends some of their shows.

Golden Rose Gang: a gang distinguishable for the golden flower pin they keep on their chest. Mostly hot rich girls who look down on other girls their age. Lead by Queen Hinata, a boastful and bitchy heiress with superiority issues.

Burning Roses: a weaker but still aggressive gang. Have a big rivalry with the Golden Roses over whose name came first and the implications of either. Led by "Hot-Fisted" Kagome.

The Shadow Babes: girls with obnoxious, cartoony laughs and slight supervillainess complexes. Fond of posing and wearing black.

Witches Three: a cryptic gang that's big on the occult and witchcraft (but will also just beat you up). They have yet to achieve any results with said practices but are said to be aiming for unlocking magic. Nobody's especially worried. Led by Azreya (not her real name).

The Karama Creeps: a band of perverted greasers fond of flipping skirts and groping strangers. Led by Snake Eyes Tatsumi, a girl with long, oily hair and heavy freckles.

The Firecrackers: an impulsive and chaotic gang of anarchists and rulebreakers. Have a lot of trouble getting organized.

The Rudes: A crass and simple gang led by Yukiko, a very short blonde girl with an oversized commissar jacket and coat. Their mayhem is generally more childish and confusing than really damaging. The types to actually steal a pie off a windowsill.

The Shooting Stars: aka the S.S. They are generally disliked by the other gangs and anyone around them for their fondness of young boys and WW2 paraphernalia. People try not to associate with them beyond beating them up.

The Battle Sisters: overly enthusiastic otaku who believe they can unlock their potential ki by fighting all the time. Caught in a somewhat dorky arms race with The Witched Three and their intention on discovering magic. Led by Hakima, a girl with silver hair, a bo staff, and a taste for sweets.

Silver Cannons: a crafty and eccentric gang fond of altering airsoft and water guns into their weapons of choice. Not especially successful, but their head for tech makes them helpful allies. Led by Toicho, a buck-toothed gearhead.

The Mountain Apes: several large country girls that occasionally enter and raise trouble in town. They were given their name by other gangs and they hate it. Led by “Big Ol’” Emiri, a tall and athletic tomboy who’s always chewing on a piece of straw. Considering something of a border guard for the area.

Crazy Ryuka: a yandere girl who pursues everything with a fanatical passion. Carries a prop katana that still stings when you get whacked. No gang allegiance but is dangerous enough to qualify as her own threat. Still no match for even one of the Nightmare Girls.

The Kawaii Five: a gang that focuses on looking as cute and harmless as possible while flaunting their yankee pride. Lots of facemasks with kitty faces and cute stickers on their bokken kind of stuff. Less prone to fighting and more into conning or seducing free stuff off of people. Seen as a nuisance by most gangs.

Silver Skulls: a gang specializing in wielding chains. Led by Emiko, a plump girl with a sidecut and a small but aggressive dog always resting on her shoulder.

The Infinity Scars: a fairly basic gang that gets more reputation than they deserve from their cool name and having both genders (a rarity). Try to rely on intimidation and looking tougher than they are. Their boss is Genjiro, a huge but secretly peaceful and thoughtful guy.

The Maneaters: boy-crazed bitches who fawn over any halfway decent-looking guy. Quick to form grudges and prone to squabble amongst themselves. Led by Lady Killer Kikinichi, an aggressive flirt set on building her own harem of boys.

Comments

I don't have plans to, but that DOES sound like something I would do.

I'm like 90% confident most of these gangs are eventually going to get their own side story
