TABLO). All six of those songs were written in just three days. 👉 At 16:40, when they discussed DIVINE, Chan shared that the first rap Binnie came up with was rejected. Binnie explained that his rap was rejected because the flow was too similar to Walkin on Water. Since it overlapped, they reworked the rap to better fit Felix. So yes—it’s fine that Nigel said it sounded familiar. Even 3RACHA acknowledged that this was the style and flow they were working with at the time. So, it makes sense. ✨ Nigel, I love all your reactions and how honest you are every time you truly give your opinion on something. It's one of the reasons you are my favorite reactor. 2025-11-28 03:46:39 +0000 UTCHi Nigel, I hear you and respect your opinion. I just see it a little differently. DO IT is a mixtape, so these tracks could’ve fit anywhere in their 2024–2025 lineup. And since they were working on CCB at the same time, it makes sense that the reggaeton element overlaps. Plus, we literally got 3–4 remixes/versions — all different🤷🏽♀️if people want to go and listen. For me, “Divine” and “WOW” don’t sound alike beyond the baseline, the same way many genres share common elements. Back-to-back, they’re totally different. And “Karma” was its own thing too, so I think they’ve earned a bit of grace here. Expecting them to reinvent themselves with every release adds pressure they don’t need. Constructive feedback is fair, but saying their music “sounds the same” because a couple songs share a vibe feels like stretching it. They’ve dropped so much in the last two years — some overlap is normal. It doesn’t take away from their creativity at all. They’re still one of the most innovative groups out right now. As they get bigger, I think fans sometimes put unnecessary expectations on them instead of just enjoying the music. And if we want to talk about groups repeating the same sound… SKZ is nowhere near the top of that list. 💯 TED Talk over 😂🫶🏽

As a latina, a lot of songs with reggaetton beats basically sound, and I mean every single song of every single album for the artist lol Even so, they chart like crazy people don't get tired of that beat LOL So to me, they sound nothing alike! Naturally, in K-pop terms I DO see what you and Nigel mean that it sounds similar! Specially for SKZ and for TT For instance, I think Divine is completely different from everything they've done but my friend can't stop hearing WOW or Muddy Water in it. While the base/genre is similar, the arrangement, melody, composition is so different! I've even seen some people say Waiting for Us, Cinema and Photobook are very similar 🤗 Music is just so fun and I always love seeing how different people hear different songs! ❤️
