Truman hits cause of the rap style we’ve never heard from these men…it feels full of life, bravado and swagger. 3. Escape. Like Truman for you, it took me multiple times to really appreciate this song, i love their voices, i love the words, the changeup in style after the first part felt jarring, but I’m vibing with it now. 4. Burning Tires….I appreciate the style and the new flow of IN and rapping, but it’s not one that I can’t live without. It’s not my style, but I still respect what they did there. Hugs. BTW We need a meetup for Charlotte/NC Dozen….that would be so much fun

I knew it was gonna be a certified banger cause like, duhh, Han and Felix, but I definitely didn't think it was gonna be a favorite for me. Here we are though, Truman is my favorite of the four unit songs 🔥🙏🏻 All of them are soooo good though... The album is def on repeat for me at the moment 🤭🤩

After a couple more listens I’m hooked. I’m ready to commit crimes. Escape is that bish. Like I love the unit and solo songs cause Channie really prioritises the other members so much in the group work, so he really gets to shine in these and it makes me so happy. Cinema is a masterclass in vocals.

(Cinema is a close second). I think what it is, with the first listen at the beginning of Truman, or even with the teaser of it. It starts off with a soft yet grand, almost Max Steiner inspired instrumental, and unique cadence for the rap delivery. It all feels very them. SKZ is pretty well known for being true to their own sound. Their own colors. It’s the stray kids genre. And it’s almost always new, never following the trend. But then the beat drops, to something more mainstream. Still has that SKZ sound, but it also has that modern hip hop and certain sub-rock/alternative sound that’s in a lot of today’s songs. It’s a beat anyone can turn up to. This song is going to go crazy at concerts, in stadiums and arenas. Everyone gon’ be blasting this shit in the car, at the kickbacks. DJ’s are guna love this song. I guarantee you we’re guna be hearing it a lot on TikTok & reels, it’s catchy as hell. And this is the song they use to flex, to talk they shit, to remind everyone that, yeah. They could do the mainstream shit too, and they’d rule the world with it. (Dominate 😂) But they choose to stick true to what they love. To their passions, to what they know their fans love, to THEIR sound. To their genre they created for themselves… but they can still have fun with it. Does that make sense? I might be looking wayyyyy too into it lol. In conclusion: this is the song for the haters, to let them know they can do it all. Ain’t shit holding them back from music like this on the reg. But they’re going to take over the music industry with their own sound. 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
