Thanks! Before I knew all of the crap surrounding his departure, he was just a guy who ended up leaving the group. So I wasn't colored in any way watching stuff but I just didn't think he clicked like all of the other members did.

2025-03-01 06:46:25 +0000 UTChonestly as a debut era stay i agree with you, and he wasn't edited out of anything he just wasn't really on camera as much. when he was in the group i didn't dislike him or anything but i just could never really get a read on his personality or his relationships with the members, and he never really stood out to me (aside from his vocals)

2025-02-21 06:32:50 +0000 UTCNow, I don't know if stuff has been edited since he left, I'm a Stay as of 2023, but I never felt the connection between him and the other members like you can between the others. Again, I don't know if they cut out some of his stuff, but he just never seemed to be around much or interacted with the other members as much. As someone else mentioned, there is an awkwardness with him and the members. I don't know if I'm just imagining it because I "know" what happened--things just don't seem to flow as easily between the others and him. The 8 members is the perfect, complete puzzle and that's all that matters.

2025-02-16 19:15:19 +0000 UTCI see a lot of people giving their opinions on the whole woojin thing so I will too! 😊 Happy you are getting to go back and explore old content Nigel, personally I don’t like watching OT9 content, I just enjoy where we have specific clips pulled of iconic moments. So I will take a miss from these eps but I just KNOW your ass did the woojin jumpscare and I’m giggling thinking about it. Reason I can’t get with OT9 content is a lot of what other people said in this thread. I think the hurt and stress caused at that time, plus the way the guys really push OT8 and non association with OT9 what so ever makes me still have lingering bad feelings towards him. Also it’s not the place to get into it, but people leave groups all the time right? And things move on pretty normally. His exit was marred by very serious accusations that some say were proven false but I never saw that evidence. What I did see was the company get the guys to RE-RECORD content. That’s a lot of money to spend and not something done lightly, esp with a group only a year in. Which to me, speaks volumes.

I think that says a lot about how they feel and there has been messed up stuff like the un called for apology and the next day dropping his album teaser it was clearly clout chasing, it kinda confused me icl. we also saw skz in their first concert and how affected they were I mean hyunjin who was one of the closest to woojin had a meltdown and fully sobbed.

Instead of being considerate of his departure, allowing Chan to prepare the members and Stays, to ensure an easier transition, he basically “ghosted” them and left them feeling scared about their futures, deeply heartbroken, and confused. In Korean culture, loyalty is HUGE, so this selfish exit hit them hard. So hard, even, to the point that Chan called Woojin's actions a "betrayal," in an episode of Chan’s Room, continuously reiterating to “think about others, not just yourself”. And in 2024, in “Breaking Silence”, Woojin himself admitted his actions were selfish. It's not the goodbye, it's the way he ghosted them that hurt them. 😔 // I love your heart Nigel, and I love all the videos you make. I look forward to watching more. 😊

They’ve been 8 for 6 years now, so them being 9 feels like a distant memory for most stays, considering how much the fandom has grown. Personally, I would never even want them to be associated with each other, considering the immense hurt and emotional trauma that he clearly caused all of the members, especially Chan and hyunjin.

And how they switch solos which I see you already reacted to. I will be watching that video right after I watch this one. But I was at work Nigel. When all of this was dropping I could not focus. I could not focus at all. Nigger, I wake up at 3:45 every morning to go to work. I swear to God it makes me fucking cackle when you react like that when he's in these videos. This is when they were babies. Of course He's going to be in the video. No, I don't think that will ever happen. They split ways on not good terms. And there's just I feel like there's too much bad blood between them. Or at least not clean blood between them, you know? He wants no parts of stray kids anymore. And that's completely fine. Let him do whatever the fuck he doing by himself and let stray kids win all of the accolades that they deserve. No Lena with this short haircut is so fucking beautiful. That's why when I first got into them I definitely tried to binge watch all of their old stuff first. I tried to watch everything in order so all of their old stuff first and working my way up to now. I would love to say that I've been with the boys since they debuted but we're not that lucky. It's still there. It's just hidden better. Because seungmin actually loves Changbin. He just shows that love by pestering the fuck out of him. That's funny. When I first saw it I thought somebody was throwing up as well for. But no he was just smelling the smell of the chicken because he likes chicken. I love when changbin did that with his shirt collar thing. It was adorable. It was dorky but adorable. It's adorkable. I'mma fight you Nigel. It's forever departed. I'mma fight you. Not you calling woojin half black because he's the fried Chicken Master.
