For me, the subway is their dream/life path--"from Sydney to Seoul," etc. Han's talking about the monotony of working and working for your dream. Chan is talking about the expansive path he had to take for his dream. Changbin is talking about the strength mentally and the drive it takes to keep fighting and working for your dream.

2025-01-16 02:38:22 +0000 UTCYayy this is my comfort 3racha song! You are correct. For jisung the subway is mundane. He takes it everyday, and everyday its the same. Sholaces loose, no seat, getting trampled by busy commuters, etc. Which is why he says he wants out of "this life". He's tired of the same troubles everyday. For chan the subway is the one thing that is constant in his life. From playing with toy trains to riding with his family to finally going alone, the train is always there. What isn't constant is people. They come and go,(friends who didn't make it, or made it before him). The people he sees on the train all look exhausted while chan is still bright. Now that he's on the train by himself he realizes he's going to be with them for a long time and he doesn't want to lose his joy like they have. For changbin the subway is like a waiting game. Others may see him as a target but he is resilient. He manages to find a seat(a place in the music world?)someone left behind and doesn't give it up for anyone. When he gets off the train for the day he sees the emergency exit and thinks how most people want an escape. They keep waiting for a "normal" life(a figurative train i think) to pass by. Changbin is not looking for the easy way. He's going to see the game through. So relatable as far as working so hard for something and wanting to give up but knowing it's worth it in the end. On another note: SICK OR NOT PLEASE ACTUALLY REST SIR

But Nigel, I really need you to take better care of yourself. I don't have no crush on the side of my mouth. I showered like 20 minutes ago. It pretty much is just their struggle as a trainee. Yes, respectable is a word Nigel. Yeah, I understand what you're trying to say. There is no guarantee that you can be an idol. You can put in that work and still never achieve your dream. The Subway is the metaphor for the journey. I think he's using the people as a metaphor for all of the other people that were trainees around the time that he was a trainee. How some of them lost their way. How some of them seem so exhausted that they're not excited anymore that they're tired that they might get off at the next stop. Yup. 3racha's music is so vibey. They all definitely sound different now than they did then. Binnie for sure. His growl was so much more pronounced when he was younger and when he wasn't singing as much. But now that he is singing so much, I feel like the growl kind of smoothed out so it's not as strong and pronounced. And honestly I miss it. But yes I got the same theory that you got. love ya too fam
