They allow a dancer to evaluate their movements and help them to adjust their placement, positioning and formation independently and within a group. Mirrors serve as a tool for training, reflection and awareness. But some dancers can rely on mirrors too much. Without the use of a mirror, a dancer is able to train their muscle memory more easily as they are only able to rely on what they feel. 💜
