You have to check on BTOB more. They’re just really really really good. In Korea they are really popular. They’ve been in the industry for so long, but they’re still very much relevant to these days. Too bad Ilhoon needs to leave the group because Ilhoon is still one of the best rapper in the industry till today, and a really good producer as well. But yes, all the members are super2 good.

Also I want to add that they were actually a 7 member group and lost their MAIN RAPPER (and producer) Ilhoon at the end of 2020 so Minhyuk and Peniel had to step up a lot! Their rap line was (still is) incredibly strong, just like the vocal line. Peniel's rap in I'll Be Your Man was Ilhoon's!

A few different teams actually had some members missing during kingdom!! In BTOB Sungjae (the one with the big voice and small body) and Hyunsik (the one with the shorter lighter colored hair) were missing because they were in the military. In ATEEZ one of the rappers Mingi was missing (he was the taller deeper voiced rapper if you remember from their music videos like Halazia) because he was on hiatus for health issues. And you already know that Hyunjin was missing in SKZ because of his hiatus. ALSO i think you would really enjoy EXO's killing voice too because they have a similar vibe.

Nigel. Exo. They are them. You cannot talk about vocals in kpop and not include exo. They've performed at the Olympics, baekhyun(another main vocal) just did both national anthems at Korea's first mlb game. The us natuonal anthem is notoriously hard to sing and he bodied it ACAPELLA. Hes also one(if not the) of Korea's best selling solo kpop artist, he even broke his own record for most album sales. Not only are btob and exo friends(they debuted around the same time), hyunsik(guy in the middle) and d.o(one of ego's main vocals) went to high school together and sang in a group for talent shows and such. They're cut from the same cloth. P.S. EXO also has a killing voice!

I’ve known their songs for years and was only able to see who was behind them when I watched kingdom. Btob are amazing artists and if you want to get to know them more, just know that they’re probably the funniest idols I know!!Unfortunately, most of their music isn’t really poppy or flashy like other groups that are more well known but their influence within kpop is still pretty big just based on the respect that other groups have for them as vocal powerhouses and friendly people.

One thing about btob is that they are seldom serious about themselves. They are here for a good time. “Idol Image” they dont know what that is. But for real. They are so amazing and talented and very big in SK not as much internationally. Also from left to right is, Minhyuk, Sungjae, Eunkwang, Hyunsik, Changsub, and ofc Peniel. Sungjae is the youngest and has been in several kdramas(like Goblin). Hyunsik is called their Father of Music, between him and Minhyuk they do most of their music producing. So the only people that I really looked at after watching Kingdom was the boys and they didn't suck me in as much as I thought they would. So I didn't really go further. I did not dive into Ateez because I obsess easily and I feel like I could obsess over them and I don't want to do that to myself or my bank account so I never listen to them. I've listened to one sf9 song that they just recently released. I have not checked out ikon. I only just watched the music video to pray. I'll be your man by BToB and when I tell you I was so shocked that there were more than four members. It threw me for a loop. The face you made was Siri didn't respond was hilarious. To my knowledge, all of the groups were missing somebody. Ateez was missing mingi. The boys were missing a few people and same for sf9. The only one that I think was full was maybe Ikon. I want to say they were in the military but I really don't know. But they are a vocal group. I'm surprised you were doubting them. Pineal does look like a baby here. Oh, they're doing a mashup. But I do remember them performing missing you on Kingdom. I have noticed that a lot of the older K-pop content does not have English captions. Ateez was missing a member, BTOB was missing 2 members, SKZ were missing a member, and SF9 technically HAD all their members but Rowoon was in like 2 episodes let's be real.

i'm commenting so much but nigel my ballad girlie... btob's tagline is "we don't sell albums, we sell emotions" and I know you felt that

BTOB are one of those groups... you might not know them, but your idols know them. they're your idols' idol!

Also I want to add that they were actually a 7 member group and lost their MAIN RAPPER (and producer) Ilhoon at the end of 2020 so Minhyuk and Peniel had to step up a lot! Their rap line was (still is) incredibly strong, just like the vocal line. Peniel's rap in I'll Be Your Man was Ilhoon's!

I know a lot of us suggest things here, but Seventeen's killing voice is on this level too, but BTOB killing voice gives me goosebumps EVERY SINGLE TIME.. amazing
