Freeze and freeze live...my shit! Hand mic Felix is undefeated! Oddinary deserves a higher rating. It's one of the best and most loved albums. Respectfully disagree.

2024-12-09 13:21:02 +0000 UTCNigel don’t take this seriously , this is just my guess: I think the way the process goes for the song picking is , let’s say Changbin makes a song that he wants to produce , he would show it to the members, and those who are Interested or want to try it out can do it and those who don’t, don’t have to because who’s gonna make them lol but this is how I see the process but if your talking about distributing parts in a song , I’m pretty sure Chan’s most of the time in charge of that……I think

But it’s mainly because I loveeee the choreography and it fits so well with the song. Oddinary songs have a lot more small dance breaks, hence why the beat either doesn’t go as hard until the end (to make the final dance break hit so much harder) or there’s more periods of less singing/rapping.

I'm also pretty sure venom plays into the larger skz lore as a part of one of the multi-verses that make up the ultimate Megaverse. (I've personally been trying to noodle it out recently and I've noticed way more videos connecting together than just the skzflix videos from as far back as the beginning)

Nobody expected it (I certainly didn't, but to date it's still 1 of my favorite Stray kids songs) and as soon as the notes started playing the crowd just started chanting the entire song along. Oddinary is a uniquely Stray Kids album and it shows off so many of their strengths beautifully while also giving a taste of the things they are capable of doing in the future. Maniac is my favorite Korean title track. Venom and Freeze and Charmer you will come to love, trust me. Muddy Water is one of my favorite songs ever. I got a t-shirt for it haha. I saw some other people mention it, but they did a cool pair of performances this summer at a fan meeting where the Muddy Water crew sang Waiting For Us and the WFU crew rapped MW and it was amazing. Truly proved they are a group of all rounders. Another thing I see people saying, and I have to say I agree, is that you need to watch the MV’s first. They have lyrics at the bottom of the screen with more accurate translations in the MV’s anyways. That being said, do what you feel is best for your channel, I’m gonna keep watching regardless. Nigel thank you for this reaction, I’ll see you in the next one!! Dozens, fighting! Oh also, don’t trust stays because we are very biased. Maxident is so different from Oddinary and personally, I think you will like it a bit more. To me these two fall kind of in the middle of the discography Muddy Water and WFU standing out and bringing Oddinary up a bit higher than Maxident. Chill is a song I’m looking forward to you hearing, as well as Super Board (totally different vibes from each other). Super Board is one of my favs, it isn’t talked about a lot by stays though. It’s just a fun song and it has a lot of attitude to it. I don’t think you’ll like it but I want to see your reaction to it really badly lol. Excited to hear your thoughts.

One thing I’ll say is that I remembered what u said in ur twitch stream that “if a song needs mv to sound good, then it wasn’t a good song in the first place”. While I agree to some extent, there is also a reason why some songs have MV and some don’t and in order to get the full experience of the song and the message of it, I think an MV is important because as I said, they wouldn’t have done it if it didn’t add an element to the song.💙 and I very much think that for first listen, if it have MV, u gotta experience it as a whole but that’s just my opinion💙ilyyyyy

Case 143 is the song that introduced me to skz even tho it's not a title track I liked that much. Then two of my fave skz songs of all times are on it: 3racha and Taste. Give me your tmi is my favorite MV from skz even tho the song is not my fav in itself and Circus was so damn good in both versions. Moreover, the whole concept and vibe of Maxident felt so intimate, like being in skz backstage and falling in love with their heart. Rock Star almost topped it when it dropped but I just love it so much

2023-12-28 03:27:23 +0000 UTChonestly hyunjin and felix are SO damn good that they could be another group's main rappers but they got han and changbin in skz and they're both so profound in rap, they basically eat drink and sleep rap so i feel like hyunjin and felix don't get the flowers they deserve. But Nigel, hyunjin and felix are in the rap line with binnie and han, they're incredibly good and often parttake in song writing. Lee know, seungmin, I.N and Chan are the vocal line. Everyone just does everything so their lines and roles gets blurred but those are their official positions! And on the topic of blurred lines, the vocal line and rap line switched songs for fun at their fanmeet and they ATE that up! I almost cried watching how much you enjoyed listening to it again, Nigel :D I'm so happppyyyyyy. As for the other songs that are iffy, like Freeze and Venom, their MVs will most likely make them grow on you more. I believe Charmer's chorus lacks lyrics because it has some hard choreo to go with it so maybe they wanted to focus on that :) For this comeback, I hope you watch some of their MANIAC US tour concert clips and SKZ TALKER vids!!

Venom isn’t my favorite, but imagine how you’d feel that creepy sound resonating in your body in a live setting? Also, Charmer’s choreo in the chorus makes it.

But keep in mind it was a mini album (as well as pretty experimental) so it can't really be compared to NoEasy because there was less content to be dazzled by. Id say because you've already heard 5 star and Rock star it had less of an impact. It is an album that grows on you, I wasnt a fan of venom or freeze's ending until a couple of listens. Almost shed a tear at the 6.8 but I get it. Thanks for the review!

Their Maniac comeback was my first as a Stay so hearing every song back to back hit me like a truck😂 But you already experienced the wow factor way and the variety of sounds before you even got to this album. A-lot of the songs are “anti-climatic” in a smooth way - they’re super suave and unexpecting, which is the appeal. Can’t wait for you to continue your journey - and hopefully the recommendation tier puts you onto their Maniac concert clips! Those compilations and performances are Top Tier!! Some really important moments for Stay also happened on that tour🥲🤘🏽💚 #DozensFighting

A lot of criticism is given about how he looks big and undefined, but they don't realize that Changbin was BULKING. Then he'd go through a cut faze which is generally used to see if they are happy with the muscle mass they've put on. If not, they bulk again. Changbin did this process quite a lot in the past year/2 years
