As for Jisung, yes he did make a kinda colorist remark towards another member, which left me disappointed and crossed for a while as a POC myself. This was disappointing for such a kind and soft-spoken person. I don't know if he publicly apologized for that, I hope he at least apologized privately. But I haven't hear such remarks since then. He's still relatively young (21 y.o), heavy on the "relatively", compared to other members who are almost in their thirties, but I hope he knows better now. I'd happily answer any question you have about NCT if you have any left :)

If you ever do get into NCT please look up a playlist that has their best songs LMAO I assure you they have a specific beat that you can either hate or love.

2023-10-22 22:06:09 +0000 UTCHonestly, Stray Kids have such a big discography + constantly coming up with singles, covers...and also a lot of content that is so much fun and even more chaotic than Skz Code. But it takes indeed a lot of deep dive into it as not all of them are on their channel. From their channel, I do like their chaotic moments from lives, GO-Talker eps, making films etc. I do listen other kpop groups songs, or some ost, don't get me wrong, but just hearing Stray Kids sing talk and laugh feels like home to me <3 cries in european* Ps. Loving your reaction! Cannot wait for your next one <3

First, NCT is split into many subunits so they almost never perform together as a full group. I don't know too much about them but i think the sub-units in order of their debut is: NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream, Way V, and i believe they just debuted another one? Some members are in all or most of the groups and some members are only in 1 or 2 sub-units. Second, NCT gets bigger every year. NCT was meant to be an ongoing project by their company (SM entertainment) so they announced new members every year. So in this video there are only 18 members because there were only 18 members in NCT at the time. I think that they just announced the last final members of the group however, and i don't think they will be adding more (but im not too sure about this part!!) Also, just random piece of info but the name of the member whose rap that you liked is Taeyong and he is the leader of the whole of NCT. The sub-units that he is a part of is NCT U and NCT 127! And the member whose dance you liked is named Ten and he is one of the main dancers!! He is in only NCT U i think?? but i could be wrong

2023-10-22 06:30:29 +0000 UTCVery important for you to know that NCT is like 4 groups that come together from time to time (only 2 members overlap in 2 groups), people call them subunits a lot but in reality they are their own groups with their very distinct color in music and performance. It's very intimidating, especially for a reactor like you who probably wants some kind of order to go with but in my opinion it's worth it for the quality of the music they put out!!

Also there are only 20 members right now, the 6 new members haven't debuted yet but they just released a predebut song the other day. Before them there used to be 23 members but 3 left the group. There’s so much good music in the kpop universe, skz is the crème of the crop imo, but that doesn’t mean that others aren’t good too. Skz is just a different breed entirely and will forever be my favs simply because of who they are. My roommate loves NCT though and I like some of their music, but for me it’s hit or miss. I’m interested to see how you like their stuff when you start to dive more into them.

This was before wayv so his solo part was a big deal since he's one of their best dancers and the company was wasting him. The other one you liked, with the opening verse, is Taeyong. He's the leader, center, main dancer, main rapper, vocalist, visual -- main character for sure lol.

And i thankfully got into the group before wayv, so i only had to learn them while everyone else did. And Lucas, kun, ten and Winwin were already in the group before WayV (lucas is no longer in nct. He was the one who you liked his voice, but not the rap. He gets better lines in wayv). I think most people learn the members by unit as well. I dont know the new members yet, and then Shotaro and Sungchan were in the group but SM (the company) were trash and made them leave and start a new group, which was annoying and heartbreaking but i like their new group. Members by unit: NCT 127: taeyong, johnny, taeil, yuta, doyoung, jaehyun, jungwoo, mark, haechan NCT Dream (younger members): jeno, jaemin, renjun, jisung, chenle and then mark and haechan who are also in 127. WAYV (chinese unit): ten, kun, xiaojun, hendery, winwin, and lucas. Lucas isn't in the group anymore and Winwin was in 127 before wayv but then SM just...took him out and never said anything about it lol. SM is trash. And then there's the new unit who i know nothing about, but from what I understand, it's a japanese unit. If you get into the group, i suggest reacting to 1 of each unit's mv and then which one you like most, focus on that unit.

2023-10-21 21:27:39 +0000 UTCHi Nigel. I don't know if someone has tried to explain this to you already. But NCT is comprised of subunits; so, most MV's won't contain all the group members at once. The main subunits are: NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV (which is a Chinese subunit), NCT New Team (which is a new Japanese subunit), and NCT U (which does not have fixed members and is a rotational unit, meaning that members can be swapped out depending on the concept of the song). I know it can be/seem very overwhelming but I hope one day you will check out any of the subunits!! (:

Because while seventeen has 13 members, they share the same discography and it'd be easier to go off from there. Plus they make their own music, which seems important to you. Ateez also produce a lot of their music. Sadly SM (nct's company) is strict and only the rappers do their own verses.

2023-10-21 21:07:53 +0000 UTCwas not expecting this lol but i'm here for it edit: okay so i haven't kept up with nct much these past couple years but here's some basic info on them: they're an "unlimited" group, they continuously add new members that debut in different subunits (so far 4 subunits have debuted). all of the subunits promote separately, and some members are in multiple units, but typically the whole group doesn't perform together. so nct is functionally a collection of smaller groups. they're very talented but getting to know the members is like getting to know 3 or 4 groups at once lol
