But I think ATEEZ is similar to SKZ in the fact you have to get to know the boys a little to start appreciating their music more. If you are planning to watch Kingdom for SKZ you should get a baseline for ATEEZ since they're both on the show (plus Wooyoung from ATEEZ and Changbin for SKZ are actually just friends in real life)! You should also be aware that ATEEZ has LORE in their videos!!! From what I've learned there is a story line to all of their content. I'm still new to getting into them myself. The guy you asked who it was is named Mingi. And San (the guy fighting in the MMA fight scenes) is the guy in black in the Triangular Fight from the MAMA 2020 performance you also reacted to!Wooyoung was the guy outside the ring giving San water and cheering him on.

Don't rush if you're not ready because you won't enjoy anything you're watching with pressure, but I think you won't regret checking out Ateez. To be honest my first kpop group ever was Stray kids but after some time i found Ateez and i realized i like Ateez more and feel closer to them, after that, i discovered BTS, i had a hard time getting used to them, but that's why my love for the boys became very strong, currently i'm a huge fan of BTS for 6 years and also Ateez since their pre-debut time, Ateez is a group where it takes some time to get used to the guys especially if you were a BTS fan before and just followed BTS for years, but after you get used to Ateez too, you realize how funny, lovable, hardworking they are.

The thing about Ateez, that I’ve found, is they are very cinematic in the way they do things. Their visuals are always on point, but it matches with the music really well. They are truly very different from many groups, they come from a smaller company and they really REALLY had to build themselves. If you haven’t already watched the Halazia music video I definitely recommend that, and then HALA HALA. Song choices on their own I would recommend Fireworks and Answer and Outlaw. Also with the music videos they do like Marvel and leave teasers at the end with clips of the next songs. If you don’t like them that’s okay but truly thank you for giving them a chance ❤️ always with love!

I love your reactions and will stick with you for your journey of BTS, SKZ, and whoever else down the road! For reference for the future when you are ready to jump into a new group: Stray Kids and Ateez are best friends with each other I feel that they are a natural group to go to next. Seventeen is really good friends with BTS and a few members are close to some members in Stray Kids, TxT are essentially the little brothers of BTS and are good friends with Stray Kids so honestly any of those 3 would be a nice stepping stone into a new group because you would still get to watch interactions with the two groups you love and already know. That was how I got into those 5 groups as my main 5. The friendships between groups is one of my favorite things.

I like their older stuff better and agree Halazia is amazing. I look forward to seeing your deep dive on them so I can deep dive with you. I know them from Kingdom and love them. They are the best and seeing them with SKZ is so sweet. They are talented and I respect that they are also in their own lane. The leader say it was bc in Europe we like more this kind of song (very strong, noisy and messy) and in korea they like soft and orgnise rythm with the classical three part . It's a funny group and some member are very friend with some stray kids member (changbin hyunjin) member thats why we see them in collab sometime.

The other deep voice guy in the bridge(?) is Yeosang. This song is what got them on Billboard.💗 It isn't for everyone at first but it'll probably grow on you. You have heard Halazia, Inception(which you liked), Fireworks(which you kinda liked), and Guerrilla(which wasn't your favorite) and then Bouncy. Dw Nigel, take your time with branching out.💜

I started getting into them very slowly so I haven’t heard all their songs but their more recent comebacks have been very high energy apocalyptic/action movie vibes and just overall very grand in my opinion I can’t wait for when you do start getting into other groups more in depth 😄

Please don’t judge Ateez based on this…they have other songs in your style. But at same time it WILL grow on you! OK i couldn’t wait. The chorus is definitely the viral part of the song. Ateez is known for their performance, so makes sense you would like it more with the context of the video. In order to see the other side of Ateez, can I please suggest Turbulence? That way you can see what their non-title track songs are like and you can see if you want to get to know them more! I hope you do. I will be heartbroken if this turned you away from them!
