Boxer is such a bop.. the street versions mv is hilariously funny..the dog in this mv is Chan's dog Berry. Chronosaurus is definitely the most underrated song ever.. I love this song to death... it helped me survive hard times so much... it will ever habe a special place in my heart.

2023-05-23 21:30:07 +0000 UTCdebut era stay here- he didn't leave because of the allegations, there were zero allegations until around a year after he left. i believe the ones that got the most attention were proven false, but there were so many different rumors and allegations floating around so who knows. he left for "personal reasons". either way, i thought his response to the allegations and some of the things he's said and done since leaving were shitty and clearly him and skz ended things on a bad note so i'm not a fan of his either

I married at 23, had my first child at 24. We're still together 25 years later (I'm including not married yet time). I miss a lot of those four party years but i really don't want to go back to them. I did some dumb ass shit and thank the stars social media didn't exist then.

2023-05-20 15:37:14 +0000 UTCFor me, in Chronosaurus, since the time is a beast, in the chorus they express the need to move, to get ready to change which makes sense with the drums giving the rhythm kinda like motivation and the last chorus is like "finally we're going" with a stronger beat, right. I don't actuallly think u would have liked it if the whole song was slow and suddenly out of nowhere drums appear. like, it would have still made sense with the lyrics but would have been sonically (dunno if it's the correct term) weird i believe

If you give them a chance and take it all in you really start to see and feel the songs deeper then just surface level listening.

Their sound is so different that sometimes it throws me off too. I think we are so used to a certain music formula but SKZ has their own formula. That’s why there is so much controversy with SKZ. I see comments that say it’s only good music if you hear it once and like it. If you have to hear it multiple times to like it then its a bad song. I disagree. I love the newer version of Victory Song. Probably because of Changbin’s part. Don’t you know who we are! Love it! Overall the CLE series are some of my favorite music. I love your honesty and it was fun seeing the review.

2023-05-20 07:48:54 +0000 UTCWith StrayKids it's important to watch the mv's 1st before the lyric videos bcuz when they make songs they have a total vision as well, so in order to understand and appreciate their music, when you see the mv, the music and lyrics always hit different. I used to watch lyrics vids 1st and thought some songs were mid but then I watched the mvs and the same songs were freaking amazing! Bcuz I wasn't getting the full purpose and vision SKZ meant to put out to the world. I noticed that on almost every song on this album you were like "meh" on the lyric video but completely changed your tune after watching the mv lol. That's exactly my point. SKZ hits different when they touch all of your senses. Not just 1 or 2 of them. I hope you pick up what I'm puttin' down 😉.

Because that's the point LOL its MAZE of memories. it's supposed to shift and change to get you lost and confused. Just like going through a maze would. It was funny you said maze runner but maybe didn't quite put it together. For the boxer street vid, they were actually in Australia and they decided to just do a street vid while they were out walking Berry (the dog you were asking about) if im not mistaken lmao. 19 was written by Han and like you said, it was basically about his fears of turning 20. hitting that "adult" stage. He wrote about how everything was just so much easier when he was younger and he is scared to be so responsible at what should be such a young age. Always being told to act his age this and that.

2023-05-20 02:31:50 +0000 UTCso far, for me, for what i could observe by listening to their whole discography, the first five albums are basically stray kids trying to find their own sound and i think you will see the difference when you will arrive to the in life album, how a different and refreshing stray kids has come out of this journey. I feel like they were experimenting different kind of style to find their own sound and it all started with god's menu. This song was a big shift into stray kids identity and thats also why it is an important song.

2023-05-20 01:24:40 +0000 UTCthree points ,,, 1! i am absolutely dreading the next album/the side effects reaction lmao please keep an open mind! they got a lot of hate for this title track ,, 2! i am so sorry you don’t like some of the beat drops in the songs but in chronosaurus i just wanted to point out that the reason they change the beat in the beginning relates to the lyrics and how they’re talking about being scared, running out of time, and not knowing what to do and when the beat changes it’s showing that they have decided to run endlessly if that’s what it takes ,,, 3!! skz put out a single called “never-ending story” for a kdrama a few months after the album you’re gonna react to next came out, so you could tack it on to that album review if you’d like !!! i am so happy you’re enjoying the boys and that you see the ‘substance’ in them now lol ! happy listening :)))

I already listened to Miroh, Victory song(which is so good especially when they perform it) Maze of mermories and boxer. I for one love maze of memories it's one of my favorite songs from them and them all rapping in one song almost like a cypher is so fire. Now listening to chronosaurus and 19 for the first time I love both songs and the message. At first chronosaurus threw me off a bit but as the song progressed it sounded amazing, it has this creepy Halloween vibe to it and I love it and I understand your opinion on the song but the beat switch for me fit with the slightly creepy vibes I was getting. Now for 19 this is just how I interpreted it, maybe they wanna go back to the days when their dreams felt like the impossible and they feel like all these things they dreamt of achieving are happening too fast and their starting to feel themselves grow and feel the weight of responsibility they have to carry as they get older. I somewhat can relate to this song since I recently just turned 19 a month ago and now I'm really starting to become an adult and it all feels so fast, I even have a job interview next week and I just feel so scared because I know I'm gonna have to start being responsible for things like bills and etc. Anyway I really don't know how to explain it and this is just how I interrupted the song but hopefully you understand lmao. Love you nigel and can't wait for more album reviews and to continue this stray kids rabbit hole with you cause so far it's been an amazing ride.
