Greetings my dear humans, I have some great news!
It seems we finally have a very effective solution to solve the "3.0 mod slaughter". This solution was suggested by a few of you this morning (thanks guys for quickly noticing me btw!) so I tested it for 2 hours in all conditions to see how much it was viable because we never know! And to my surprise characters, objects, weapons, gliders, everything seems to work at every distance! Above all, even fixing our most concerning issue : the new far-distance LOD "decoy" lowpoly 3D models. And that's awesome, I could not wish for more!
This means we're totally back! Although keep in mind this solution might severe your performances as it bypass any LOD optimization forcing your config to run with only the highest grade of textures and models. This aspect of the game is not 100% of your performances but still pretty significant. Also like always, your character might not be instantly modded, it will takes half of a second the first time to slap the changes but that should be only once per character per gaming session.
Now, how do you get this solution working? First, there will be a mandatory update for your XXMI launcher, do it and run your game once. Then I suggest you do a safer double check with my screenshot above just to be sure, or else watch the famous video of the initial fix by Woju/Sleider.
