Qiuyuan is soon disembarking and by looking at the first visuals of his gameplay I think we will have incredible fun playing him! This is the character I was most looking forward to in this version of the game and that means I can't wait to give him a additional Radiant touch. Although I'm kind of stressed because I don't have much asterites after that Galbrena brutal wreck... I will need somekind of miracle to get this guy into my account. Mods are always much easier to make when you own the character for the in-game/world close-ups, to me that is crucial to unlock the full potential of creation.
So about the future mod I will be straight with you, I already have a couple of ideas. All are tricky and I don't even know if his base assets will support what I have in mind. I noticed some shapes from his kimono that will probably get in the way and might give me some hard times. So it won't be a quick release but I'm sure you will have some other fast edits/swap mods to chew on in the meantime.
Qiuyuan has indeed more of Youxia vibe (Chinese warrior) rather than a japanese ronin or samurai. I'll probably try to see if bringing more japanese vibe is working well. But I'm kind of divided as I also enjoy a lot the chinese designs (because of that amazing "Kingdom" manga from Yasuhisa Hara that I would totally recommend. Especially from books instead of anime). I'll also probably try to stray away from the green color. Sometimes it works but for this one I'm not a fan of repeating the vfx hues on his clothes.
Also I don't know about you but I kind of dislike his signature weapon base design. I'm tired about the usual signature's element "shiny/glowing VFX" for each new release and for Qiuyuan I would have prefered something more humble, more straight and simple just like in the fanart I attached. So I might make first a mod for his character and then a separate mod for those who agree with me on his weapon.

Oh congratulations! I was again very unlucky (140~ pulls), I had to spend 200 to get it. Very depressing... but I needed the character to make a better mod. Anyways, I'm battling right now with the premices of his "re-design", it might take some time so be a little patient! In any case I love the character so you will feel the passion in the final result. I'll keep you all in touch in case it's longer than usual
