Here's a tunny fact for you: Black cats are my absolute favorite! I was a little bitter when none of Salad's kittens came out a Goop clone, but that passed after a few minutes of working on myself and my inner demons.
When I volunteered at an animal shelter, there was a whole basement just full of black cats waiting for a cat upstairs to be adopted so they could be rotated up. It really breaks my heart. I think they're the best cats in the world and deserve to be held in my arms and have their fluffy bellies motor boated every day!!!

I had to scroll back in patreon to find this one again because my brother helped me save a black kitten from a tree surrounded by big dogs last tuesday and we just kinda have a cat now. He climbed an unsteady ladder and everything 😱

Maizie is now 18 yrs old (trapped as a young adult with 2 void kittens whom I vetted & adopted out) & Leonard is 12 (trapped as an unrelated void kitten.) I love my black kitty kiddos! They nicely balance my youngest cat: a 7 year old wild child, tortitude-to-11, chaos hobgoblin 😂

He was quiet and clever (definitely more so than my mom's miniature schnauzer lol) and very aware when he made superstitious people nervous because he would follow them around our house 😅 I can't wait until I'm in a living situation where I can adopt some more void cats!!
