Thanks for the context, I was not aware of all that. At the end of the day I don't care that much, just don't want her to miss out on experiences that she might appreciate. But it is understandable given what you shared. Thanks again.

2024-09-22 17:07:22 +0000 UTCi hear you. while i personally agree with you, there's important context that helps me roll with it a bit. riley hasn't posted to her youtube channel in a year. there's no editor for her content, so we get full reactions here and that's it. while we'd benefit from more content by having her do two different videos for firefly, it's more work for her and isn't really a massive benefit. if she was pumping out massive amounts of content and had multiple editors and a whole operation, sure, i get the benefit of creating different reviews for different bits of firefly content, but she needs to do what makes the most patrons happy, so she makes a poll and majority wins. it makes sense in those terms, even if it's not what my personally ideal situation would entail.

2024-09-22 16:23:33 +0000 UTCI really don't understand why one wouldn't do it before the movie, to have an interpretation that is just about the series, and then one after the movie that can incorporate that new information. Doing one after the series does not preclude doing one after the movie, but doing it the other way makes it impossible to ever know what your thoughts were about the series alone, going into the movie. It just makes so much more sense to me.
