This was such a good episode! I enjoyed it a lot. Probably one of my favorites even though it got incredibly sad at the end. Also, that last scene?! Excuse me??? She can't be leaving! I thought they were going to kiss π

Game of Thrones and its ongoing prequel series, House of the Dragon, have a long and elaborate theme song sequence (though instead of showing clips from the episodes during it they show something else), and I think a number of other HBO shows also do. Those are the main recent examples that I can think of.

2024-09-12 23:08:24 +0000 UTCI do feel like the movie is sort of the "proper" finale for the show, and because of that having the review after the movie might make a bit more sense (though the points I see others making in favor of the other option are valid too).

You could always do two reviews (one before and one after the movie like El suggested) if you don't mind doing them so close together though.

2024-09-10 05:24:43 +0000 UTCMy suggestion would be to do the Firefly review of the season for a couple of reasons: 1. There were three years between the show and the movie, so people who watched then would have had time to digest and analyze and, most importantly, make predictions. It'll really be your only chance to predict anything, since there's no season 2. 2. You'll surely be doing your analysis of the movie as its own unit after you watch it anyway, right?
