It would appear the extended cut can only be purchased on dvd.

2021-11-24 05:23:53 +0000 UTCI just looked it up and I believe the Disney+ version (the one I am watching) of the movie is edited and shortened. There are missing scenes for whatever reason. The movie is 1 hour 19 minutes on Disney+ and 1 hour 26 minutes normally. I believe that’s the reason things got mixed up.
