Breed Guide: Plott Hounds!

This week's breed was suggested by Monica D.! Thanks so much, Monica!! I love a good hound dog, and these guys seem par the course. Goofy, love to sniff, sobbing at the drop of the hat. I see myself in them. Brindle is one of the hardest coat colors for me to draw, so it's always a fun struggle to try to portray it. Also agouti is absolutely awful to draw. And I know what you're thinking, why did you adopt Soup, who has an agouti coat, when she is so hard to draw? Because she looked sad, that's why.
Actually, I wanted Soup to play the lead role in my comic TV Dog but, she was too hard to color, so I recast her with a fictional pibble. (You can read TV Dog here!) But you know who has AMAZING character design?? The Breakfast Sandwich himself... He's designed by an animator, I swear. So someday I think he'll play the lead role in a comic. (I'm actually chipping away at writing one that stars a cat atm but I have no ending for it... hmmhmm) I just think it'd be funny to have a comic and on the cover it says "Featuring SOUP as TV DOG!"
