Omg I can't believe it's over already! I loved this show so much. This last episode was so emotional though. I did not expect to be basically crying the whole last half lol I'm sad about the ending but I really enjoyed it!

The way I read Topher's last scene is that he was finally free. He knew he would never have to watch people being shot in front of him again, never worry about his technology being misused. Never again feel the guilt that all this was his fault. He was giving his life to fix what he blamed himself for and, once he switched the device on, at that moment all the mental pressure was gone and he was free to just be himself in those last few seconds.

I didn't finish the show when it originally aired . Because I never thought the Dolls could win . This ending might be up there with the Buffy season finale. They say a lot of bad stuff about Joss whedon but he gave her a major star on 2 show . He definitely appreciated Elisha dusku.

2024-07-01 02:50:12 +0000 UTCI was caught off guard by how emotional I got watching the finale the first time. Like, I knew I really liked the show, but I didn't realize I loved it till then. Such a deeply bittersweet ending. I think a lot of Whendonverse fans go into watching this show with certain expectations and find it inferior to the other Whedon shows, but the more I've watched it, the more I've grown to appreciate it and not compare them to the extent I did. That it's singular in its own right. I miss these characters so, so much. I wish it had lasted at least one more season. Thank you so much for another fun vicarious ride. π₯Ή
