I really enjoyed this episode! I'm so happy we got a bunch of flashbacks for Simon and River. I've been curious about what they're family is like. I can't believe they got kidnapped in this episode too lol Well at least we got to focus on them! And now I need to some backstory for the Shepherd because he's clearly hiding something.

"Though he did leave them before" Well it bears notice that he only left them there before, after looking for them, and not being able to waste time to get the Shepherd life saving help. "Ah, this is their home" So when River said 'daddy' would come and take them HOME, maybe she wasn't talking about their father and the Tam home.
