Holy crap the reveal at the end of this episode was INSANE! I never would have guessed it at all. Plus the character death in this episode actually made me so sad. Who would of thought?! lol On top of that, we got answers about this history between Bennette and Caroline so this episode was top tier for me!

2024-07-02 01:48:39 +0000 UTCI generally don't mind the whole season's worth of plot we get in every episode in the back half of season 2 as they scrambled to fit everything in, but man I (somewhat masochisticly) grieve for what a gut punch the Boyd reveal would have been had it come in season 4 or season 5. Don't know if you spotted it, but the scene with Boyd and Saunders after he's been shot was one of the "flashbacks" from the season 1 finale.

I think obviously it would be great if they’d had another season to lay more groundwork, but damn if it doesn’t hit emotionally. I think it pulls off the feeling of betrayal very well.
