New Show Suggestions!

Dollhouse is unfortunately coming to an end soon so we'll have to find a replacement. I'll do a poll like I did last time but first I want to hear your suggestions!

I think I'll definitely include Smallville and Charmed in the poll because I got suggested Smallville alot and I really want to watch Charmed lol but leave some suggestions in the comments!

Comments

For something different, I highly recommend "Pushing Daisies"! It is wonderful, weird, and whimsical, Also only 22 episodes.

Thom Purdy

I think Charmed is right up your alley. You'd love it. Smallville is not as good.

Jontor11

Doctor Who is my vote

JenM

Has to be Doctor Who next for me - from Christopher Eccleston onwards. Buffy is my number one all time show and Doctor Who is number 2 because they both have great character development mixed with really crazy storylines.

Da_Bill

1 Vampire Diaries If you liked Buffy Vampire diaries you'll like it too . 2 Smallville . 3 . Agents of shield 4. One tree hill

Tjbosslyfe

Battlestar Galactica, The Expanse, Terminator - the Sarah Connor Chronicles, Legend of the Seeker, Game of Thrones

Stephen Knueppel

Doctor Who (the reboot, 2005+) is at the top of my list, as well

CraigK

Person of Interest

Ryan Hopple

Lucifer, My So Called Life,

Scott Kenney

-Smallville -Lucifer -Roswell(Original) You've indicated before being a k-pop fan. While not Korean I highly recommend an anime called "Oshi No Ko". The premise is a little weird if you look it up, but it mainly deals with the Japanese entertainment industry and being a young celebrity in the social media age. The themes translate very well to k-pop idols.

NC

If you haven’t already seen them, would love to see you react to: The Last of Us (only 9 eps) Roswell (original 1999 version) Lucifer My So-Called Life

Kirsten (Heavenli24)

Firefly, Spaced, and Parks & Rec

Charles Maxwell

The Expanse, Black Sails, Orphan Black, Crazy Head! (coined the British Buffy), Six Feet Under, Black Sails

Alexis Cardarella

Westworld

Stardust

Battlestar Galactica Hannibal Lost The Expanse Netflix Jessica Jones Lost Girl

Edwin Lee

The Haunting of Hill House would be awesome !

sonofcoul

- Gilmore Girls (7 seasons) - Life Unexpected (2 seasons) - Roswell 1999 (3 seasons) - Friends (if you haven't seen it) - One Tree Hill (9 seasons) - Third Watch (6 seasons) - Dawson's Creek (6 seasons) - The Haunting of Hill House (mini-series)

cruzinbosco

Oh boy, looking at some of the subsequent replies, there are so many good choices. Definitely echo: The Good Place Lucifer Community

Stargazer1682

Teen Wolf is a fun one to get into

SirCheetah

Once Upon a Time or The Good Place

Artemis Nix

Definitely recommend this as well! and it has Kristen Bell in it too

Freefall

Hannibal is a great show about friendship and food. Very heartwarming. Best to go in blind to avoid those pesky spoilers. :)

Nogusta

12 Monkeys SyFy Series, probably one of the best underrated time travel stories I've ever seen. Has 4 seasons of 13Ep each.

GusterXZ

I'd say The Good Place and Lucifer if you haven't seen those already.

Gau Thier

I am enthusiastically recommending The Good Place and Person Of Interest.

Audra Foxgrove

Ooh, The Good Place!

Audra Foxgrove

The Magicians is a great supernatural fantasy series that has few to no reactions. Five seasons with 65 total episodes. Kind of a college age Hogwarts including a Narnia-type otherworld.

Tom Tattershall

Gilmore Girls, good call.

Zoot!

Highly recommend The Good Place next. If you have any familiarity with the MCU, I'd also put Agents of SHIELD top of my list too.

Zoot!

Battlestar Galactic, Legends of the Seeker and Spartacus

Stephen Knueppel

I don't think anyone in the history of the world has ever reacted to Scrubs (I might be exaggerating slightly) but it has a great blend of silliness and heart-rending moments. I think you'd like it, but realistically I don't think it has a chance.

Anthony

Original Charmed is great! But it unfortunately loses its charm by the last couple of seasons. Original Roswell (3 seasons) would be right up your alley. (These two shows aired at the same time as Buffy). Wonderfalls (1 season) is a FANTASTIC show. I would love for you to watch Alias. It's a sci-fi/agent/mystery show that I think you would like.

Jontor11

She'd be grossed out, but that still doesn't seem to stop her from wanting to continue, so I doubt that would be a dealbreaker.

El

One thing I'd like to suggest is that if you're going to stick with three concurrent shows that you do some long and some short. Since Veronica Mars is mid-length (72) and Firefly is very short, the length of new show could then be used to determine what the options for replacing Firefly are, too. The Good Place (53), Person of Interest (103), Dark (26) (as long as you're OK with subtitles) and School Spirits (8, but with a second season coming in 2025) would be my top picks.

El

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will always be my top pick, but I do have others as well: - The Good Place - Orphan Black - Agent Carter - Lucifer - Daredevil - The Americans

Sean Ellingham

Black Sails Orphan Black Lost Girl Marvel's Agents of SHIELD (and the MCU in general) Daredevil and Jessica Jones

Rileymetal

Smallville even tho there are 10 seasons, which mean it's an over decade to finish it

anticonstructivist55

Pushing Daisies is exactly the earnest and sweet type of show I suspect you'd really love watching. It's unlikely to win, but I've no doubt you'll enjoy it, if you do ever get to check it out

Steve

Wonderfalls Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Orphan Black

PT Gunn

I love both Smallville and Charmed, but honestly my first choices would probably be Battlestar Galactica or Merlin. Both have some familiar faces and are amazing shows. I would also suggest Once Upon a Time if you haven't seen it yet, Doctor Who or Heroes. Or if you want a shorter episode runtime, Community is one of the funniest sitcoms I've ever seen

HookedOnSwans

I'd like to see you watch Smallville. Heroes would be a good choice for some action and suspense. Being Human is horror drama (the U.S. version, there's a U.K. version I've never seen). If you want a mystery/detective show with a supernatural twist, I suggest Lucifer or Izombie. You should also do a monthly movie reaction, starting with the Buffy and Firefly movies!

Michael Noss

I adore Agents of SHIELD and will ALWAYS ALWAYS recommend it. Such a well written show.

Denni Caid

I second this!

HookedOnSwans

Gilmore girls and friends

Petra Marie

That’s probably true lol but that’s also the fun part! I think the pros far outweigh the cons and getting into the mysteries and conspiracies of the show would be an amazing watch, not including some of the best MOTW episodes ever. It’s such a classic.

PeachyKeen

I think it would be nice if you watched a comedy show for a change. The three best ones in my humble opinion are: - Friends (the best one) - Scrubs - The Office If you're looking for non-comedy shows, then Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones are the obvious choices. I don't think I know anyone who doesn't love these shows, if they've seen them. The Last of Us would be great too, it's always fun to see reactors getting jumpscared. :-D

Kevin Karst

There are a LOT of really good shows out there. Just off the top of my head; Orphan Black; the Marvellous Mrs Maisel; Killjoys; iZombie; The Good Place. There's also one more Whedon show; The Nevers. Like Dollhouse and Firefly, it sadly didn't go the distance, just 12 episodes in total. And Whedon had already quit by then. But it's definitely worth checking out. Lastly, if I had to think of a show that would be the best fit for the kind of stuff you've watched up to this point, I'd 100% go with Wynonna Earp.

Simon

Black Sails The Good Place Battlestar Galactica (2005) Gilmore Girls

Nikho_Ronin

24 is another great show, it’s filled with action, drama and incredible plot twists about a goverment agent played by the incredible Kiefer Sutherland

Eddie Veltre

I think there are amazing Episodes of Quantum Leap (1989), so maybe select episodes? I just never see anyone react to those ones. Lost is great too.

Aech2

Wynonna Earp!

Logan Bruin

Agents of shield if you enjoy marvel. It is buffy and angel spiritual cousin via whedon.

Christopher simeon

Doctor Who is top of my list for any reactor who hasn't seen it already.

Keith Goodnight

Peaky Blinders, Netflix' Daredevil, Lost Girl, Orphan Black

Absolute0

My So-Called Life Twin Peaks

Moon Logic

My long shot wish would be Wonderfalls. And for a more likely choice I’ll say Pushing Daisies.

Michael Baker

I think she'd probably love the mysterious elements of it, but would be grossed out by much of the stuff that crops up, based on her reactions to some demons on Buffy/Angel.

Anthony

My So Called Life Harper's Island Designing Women Living Single

Nica Marie

Lucifer, Person of Interest, IZombie, and Scream Queens.

Pumpkin 3.14

I would love a reaction to The X-Files! It’s such an iconic show and I remember you mentioning you wanted to watch it at some point.

PeachyKeen

Battlestar Galactica has some familiar faces and is also amazing

Daniel

The Leftovers Lost Freaks and Geeks Gilmore Girls Battlestar Galactica Wynonna Earp

Thomas Hansen

Smallville and Charmed are great choices but would love to see you react to Doctor Who.

Da_Bill

Also Community is the best sitcom ever. Community.

Bisibia

The good place! As much as I love these shows, I think it would be nice to see you react to a show that is 22 minutes instead of 44... And you haven't done any comedies yet sooooo....

Bisibia

Lucifer Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Doctor Who Agents of SHIELD Stargate SG-1 Quantum Leap (the original)

Stargazer1682

Roswell OG Also something I haven't seen anyone react to but would be a fun one is Grosse Pointe. Great show and has a bunch of Buffy references in it too.

McPhee242

I'll never miss an opportunity to plug Orphan Black, so may I suggest...Orphan Black? Underrated show, not too long (5 x 10 episode seasons), and I think you would gel with it.
