Intrusive thoughts are upsetting & often violent thoughts that ~intrude upon~ your mind, are completely opposed to your core moral beliefs, and are often common in people who have anxiety/ocd/adhd. Impulsive thoughts are the annoying urges you get to do silly but ultimately harmless things like wiping at chalk! Totally different, but often used interchangeably with one another 💕
