Breed Guide: Jindos!

This week's breed is the Jindo, suggested by Livvie and Monica D.! Thanks guys! I've never heard of them before and it's always so much fun to research a new breed. Their history is a little sad though :< I always forget how Japan is so similar to Britain and the United States in their colonizin' ways. But that won't damper my newfound love for these lil friends!! Glad they made it!
I wonder about the Korean breeds we lost, though. After I finish the weekly breed suggestions, I've been thinking about doing extinct breeds next!! Would be really fun to learn about them, and I'm sure you guys would have some great suggestions!

Spanish water dog! They're different from the Portuguese water dog and get very offended if mixed up with them.

Ours is pretty small and often mistaken for a Shiba (a very easy mistake tbh), due to being the runt of the litter, lol. Almost too smart for her own good, fiercely protective, playful & painfully cute. Not the best domestic pet if you want a cuddly, friendly-to-strangers type dog, though.
