Omg we got a Wesley focused episode and we got to dig into the relationship with his dad a little bit! I remember they showed us that the relationship between them is strained in the earlier seasons and I've been wanting to learn more about it. So this was a good episode for that. There was definitely some emotional moments and the end left me heartbroken to be honest. I really enjoyed it and the episode flew by for me lol

The episode you're thinking of was in Season 1, the Demon trapped in the evil, soulless child. During the exorcism it read Wesley's mind and talked about him hiding under the stairs from his father and that he wasn't good enough for the Council or his father. He called his dad in that episode. He also called his dad when Angel Investigations put him in charge during Season 2.

I have to stick with what happened . Wesley has been over confident in the past . Like the way he mishandled faith . But Dark Wesley one of my favorite characters. I would say Cordelia is the most improved character. She became a higher being . But it's almost a tie with Wesley.
