Woah that took a turn I was not expecting! Is the next episode going to be about Angel searching through this creepy world?! I don't know what kind of creature that was but it was probably the most disgusting thing I've seen on this show yet! I hated it! But it did give us some valuable information about Jasmine so I guess it wasn't all bad... lol

2023-10-17 02:58:05 +0000 UTCYes this demon is right up there as the most nasty looking. Other contenders include Gnarl from Same Time, Same Place (the one that was eating Willow's skin), Machida the "snake" like demon from Reptile Boy, and Wig Lady from the Doublemeat Palace.

Yes, the phrase from Buffy was, "from beneath you it devours," but they always linked that to the hellmouth and the First trying to open it. Is it impossible they're overlapping the plots? I'll never tell. Just keep in mind though, that kind of synergy was most a thing of the past once Buffy switched networks; and even Willow's appearance part way through took some doing. It's why the viewing order between the two shows is so skewed this season.
