I'm really enjoying the season so far! It's interesting to see all these potential slayers together at Buffy's house trying to survive. I also love how a lot of things have been tying back to things that happened in past seasons. Buffy finally killed that vampire creature and rescued Spike! So now I'm wondering what else the first evil is going to try to do to get to Buffy and the other girls.

2023-07-08 00:20:10 +0000 UTCI always thought that the Slayer line was going through Faith . After Buffy Died in Season 1, Kendra became the Slayer, then she died and it was Faith. When Buffy died at the end of Season 5 no new Slayer was called. So the Slayer line was only through Faith. But when the Scoobies brought Buffy back, it reignited the Slayer line through Buffy as well. So the Slayer line now goes through both Faith and Buffy now. So the First is mad about there always being 2 Slayers now instead of just 1. 2 Slayer lines throws off the balance, etc.

2023-07-07 16:28:22 +0000 UTCI think Giles said that the balance between good and evil shifted when Buffy was brought back. Meaning that there is only supposed to be one slayer. The First got the chance to act upon it. This is a bit of a plothole imo. There has always been two slayers ever since Buffy died in season 1, and The First didn't act then...except for that season 3 episode, and that was about Angel.
