This season is getting crazier! So now we know that the first evil is trying to kill off all the potential slayers before killing the current 2 so that there won't be anymore slayers to take their places. That's terrifying! It seems were going to have some new characters so I'm excited to see how that goes. Thank god Giles is okay! I don't know how he got out of that situation but at least he's alive. Also, we got to see Drusilla again! It wasn't the real her but I'll take it!

2023-06-28 18:17:37 +0000 UTCProphetic is the word you might be looking for about Buffy's dreams, I guess I'm leaning toward Joyce being a product of those dreams and not an embodiment of the First, mostly because they made a point of showing Buffy waking up. I think the Turok-Han, or the Ubervamp as Buffy referred to it, takes a little of its look from Max Schreck's Nosferateau. It does a good job of portraying an ancient species of vampire, a primitive species, even though it doesn't do our friends the Neanderthals any favors by using them for comparison :0) I agree that this is one of the worst beatings that we've seen Buffy take, she was pretty banged up after the first encounter but after that second time she was a hematoma with eyes. The one thing that always bugs me about this episode is when they're dunking Spike. He's a vampire, he doesn't need to breathe so a) why do it and b) why is he gasping for air when they pull him up?
