This breed is another fav of mine, because I'm a hound kinda dude. I often look at a hound and say, "they should be named Soup." And then I made my dreams come true!
We used to have one of deez at work named Blue, (very creatively,) and if another dog was being annoying anywhere in the yard, even if it was completely unrelated to him, he'd come over and go AWOOOOOOOO *SO LOUDLY* in their face, sending them backwards in shock and disbelief. Not something I particularly wanted to happen in my yard, but made me laugh every time!

2022-02-01 14:52:06 +0000 UTCOmg I have a bluetick at work named Blue too! And she does the *exact* same thing lmao. But another bluetick, Huckleberry, is the quietest, sweetest boy. But then...*then*...there is ROOSTER the black and tan coonhound, who is SO loud all the TIME always. A dog doesn't wanna play with him? BWOOOOOO A dog is playing with his brother and not him? BWOOOOOOO. I love coonhounds so much tho.

Lol My mom's Bluetick was an absolute clown and he obsessed over things reflecting light onto the walls or ceiling and occasionally would rattle the house with his baying if the light looked suspicious I guess lol He also alerted my mom to a den of copperheads in an old flower pot and my step dad to them being stalked by a mountain lion! Very perceptive nose and he'd swear he'd never been fed in his life at every human meal xD
