Added 2023-04-03 16:17:07 +0000 UTCSo I got summoned for jury duty lol My summons period is from 4/3 - 4/28. I called yesterday and was only told that there was nothing for today and tomorrow but said I would have to call back Tuesday evening.
I want to post the reviews Wednesday and either Thursday or Friday but I might have to make some adjustments if anything happens with jury duty. Both my aunt and my dad said that neither of them were needed when they were summoned so I’m hoping that will happen to me.
I also don’t know if I’ll have to keep calling every couple of days until the 28th to see if I’m needed but just be aware that the schedule might need to be a bit more flexible this month.
I will post the schedule/update this week on Tuesday evening after I find out what’s going on!

Normally, you just keep calling and they just keep telling you to call back tomorrow or in a few days. I've only served once and that was a really long trial, but a good outcome as we found the defendant not guilty and it was unanimous. The next time was going to be an ugly trial (wife beater with a defense strategy I won't repeat here) but I was dismissed by the defense during jury selection. The prosecution and the judge were smiling (they liked me) but the defense couldn't get rid of me fast enough. 😜 If you are selected, it can be a good experience and give you a fresh perspective on a lot of things. 👍
