Breed Guide: St. Bernards!
Added 2021-10-18 20:04:52 +0000 UTCHappy Monday, my dear darling Garfields!! I hope you enjoy this dog of the week. Cause I sure do!! I want to ride one of these into battle. But like a battle with LARPer nerds or something, I'm not that committed to the bit.
Also, Breakfast is doing way better! I know on last week's breed guide I was very stressed about him. But it only took 7 vet visits to right the boy. So thank you for being a patron π I just noticed we hit 700 subscribers, I can't believe it!! Thank you so much for your support!! You've helped me and the critters so so so much!

One year during a fourth of july fireworks, a strange unknown saint Bernard came up to me and put his precious head on my lap as if he was able to sense who would love him the most in the crowd. yurned out his name was cowboy and was a retired show dog and i think about him everyday, i love him so much.

2021-10-19 12:44:23 +0000 UTCWhen I met my spouse he was rescuing and fostering St Bernards. I went from being a no-pet-person to two cats and five giant dogs. My favorite was either Brody, who had a really big head but comparatively small body (like one of those fancy goldfish), or Monica, who was nervous around people and wouldn't go get a drink of water unless she thought you weren't paying attention (which sometimes meant you had to flop over on the couch and pretend to be sleeping if you saw her looking kinda longingly toward the kitchen)

One of them would walk over to any bottles left out by the top, tip her head back, and empty it before putting it back down. Not super healthy for a dog, but a funny story in hindsight, I guess! ALSO I'm so happy about Lil Sandy ππππ wishing y'all the best as always!

2021-10-18 20:09:39 +0000 UTCAt the boarding kennel where I worked we had a St. Bernard come in who would always stack his food dish in his water dish in his kennel. Even with the no tip bowls he still managed to find a way. Much smarter than he appearedβ¦
