This was another good episode! I feel like so many things happened. Giles came back and then had an altercation with Willow (probably my favorite scene btw)! Johnathon and robot boy teaming up? That was really unexpected lol I'm curious to see how their storyline goes.

The Watchers Council remains the absolute worst here. Everything they do is reliant on Buffy being able to do her job, and they should be at least paying her a salary on par with Giles or the rest of the council. They just love to twist the knife of control when it comes to their slayers.

2022-10-21 18:34:22 +0000 UTCI love Buffy's deadpan (pardon the pun) humour this episode, and the awkward silences that ensue. I like to think that the comedy clubs in Sunnydale are full of the darkest humour in the country, due to their unique circumstances.

2022-10-21 17:03:57 +0000 UTCWeirds me out that people assume Willow and Tara aren't contributing financially (and gloss over the non-financial contribution they're making by taking over Dawn's guardianship). Anyway, there's no evidence they're not contributing financially. They're probably paying from their student loans the everyday bills and it's just bills like this very expensive and extensive plumbing job that means this is a pressing matter. I don't blame Tara and Willow for not being able to find money like that. Let's not forget that Willow's definitely made decisions to be in the fight, by Buffy's side, that have cost her in a material sense (UC Sunnydale Vs Ivies/Oxford)
