Breed Guide: English Bulldogs!
Added 2020-12-28 20:29:23 +0000 UTCAnother Monday, another dog breed where I look up historical photos, get sad at their current state, and then draw their copious amounts of modern day folds, and become happy. Such conflicting emotions... Bulldogs are such sweeties tho, I've loved every one I've met. Goofballs a'plenty.
Also, apparently with bull-baiting, they were betting on which dog would latch onto the bull's nose first, but my original interpretation was one dude being like "I think the abused, tied up bull's got this one in the bag... IM BETTIN IT ALL" made me laugh so I just went with that. Glad they outlawed that tho, my goodness.

My shitty high school also had a bulldog mascot I feel like a chubby little sausage doggo isn't the most fear-inspiring mascot regardless of how tusk-like they made the teeth though
