Except I've never played/watched Digimon, but I wanted an excuse to draw that one, he's cute!! I looked up all them characters tho and I can safely say you all have good taste!!! <3

OH yeah for sure I agree with all that! The only Digimon World titles that aren't the same as the others are the DS games, since those are actually part of the Digimon Story series and the titles were mistranslated coming to the West! If you want something a little more like a standard monster JRPG then Cyber Sleuth or the DS Digimon World games are probably what I'd start with, but if you're looking for something a little more unique that takes some patience but feels a bit more personal/rewarding, I wholeheartedly suggest picking up Digimon World: Next Order since it's the most recent Digimon World title!!

It's very good, but I should note that the Digimon World games take a bit of getting used to, they aren't your typical games. Your Digimon go through a cycle of death/rebirth so you'll be raising them differently to get different Digimon. You don't really control them in battle either, there's some control but mostly they fight for themselves. I really love the unique way the games play, it's different from anything I've played before and I recommend giving them a shot!

The translation is a bit wonky but overall the story and gameplay is similar to Persona/Shin Megami Tensei mixed with Pokemon, and I had such a blast playing it the first time and every time after ! It's a lot of fun and definitely worth playing if you have a Switch or PS4- other good Digimon games tho are Digimon World DS and the original Digimon World from 1999 is pretty good also iirc. Ofc I'm a little biased because I'm a big sucker for Digimon, so some reviews online might be helpful to make sure you'd actually want to play those games JDBDIDNS. But I hope if u do play you enjoy, cause genuinely the franchise is so underrated ;0;
