This is probably the most difficult time I've had writing a script. In the end, I just renamed the video "The Two Sides of Studio MAPPA" because it was getting so difficult to form a consistent argument. MAPPA shows are great, but adapting to the overproduction crisis is burning out artists around the world.
This ended up being the most requested video on the channel, although I imagine most people requesting it weren't expecting me to come down so hard on the studio. That said, the reaction has been largely receptive, so I guess I've done my job.
The last three videos have all been viewer-requested, so I'm going to make like Maruyama, and have the next video on the channel be something I've been wanting to cover for a while. I didn't realize they were done by the same studio at the time (though I should have realized since the studio name comes up before the episode plays on Prime)-in hindsight, I was having a MAPPA-thon
