Oh yeah I get burnt out all the time. I try to only write stories that really excite me but it's hard to know sometimes. I always start with a concept I think I'll enjoy writing, sometimes it turns out even better than I thought, other times it's kind of a slog and I have to force myself to finish. The CYOA's are definitely my favourite to write, I wouldn't say I prioritise them over other stuff, but they're a lot longer than my other stories so I get to have more fun filling them with different ideas and putting in more character development moments.

2023-02-27 17:48:52 +0000 UTCDo you ever get exhausted of ideas for all of these good stories? Seems like dealing with very similar subject matter so often would burn you out at some point. Do you prioritize some works over others, like your CYOAs? They always strike me as especially excellent.
