OK, “need” is a strong word. If you just want to enjoy this 99% complete version of the new video, go right ahead - and thanks again for your continued support! But that last hurdle makes all the difference, and that’s where you (potentially) come in.
TL;DR: I have no idea how to sell this video to people. I’m proud of it, I think it’s good, and I don't have much desire to severely compromise it in the hopes of pulling viewers -- but after the galactically terrible performance of this project’s last entry, my confidence in this specific area has faltered slightly. You know what I’ve never tried? Focus testing. You know what’d be cool? Focus testing. If you want to, that is.
Over the next day, I’m going to be trying to figure out exactly how I want to present this video in a way that balances honest advertising with good old clickbait, and something that that would make that process much easier is early access viewers checking it out, getting a feel for what seems especially noteworthy/interesting in the contents/vibe of the video, and helping me gain a sense for what this video really ‘is’ to people.
I’m taking title suggestions, thumbnail suggestions, and just general feedback, all of which can be sent either to me directly via Patreon Messaging, or posted in the jack-saint-discusion section of the Patron/Member Discord. Please don't be afraid to upset me! I am, after all, directly asking for it. Again, this is totally optional, but it’s a small thing that’d be appreciated -- if it goes well, I can maybe even see this becoming a more regular thing, possibly integrated into some fun exclusive livestream events.
