NEW VIDEO: Can Art Be Objectively Bad?
Added 2019-02-05 22:00:12 +0000 UTCIt's shaping up to be a wild year for media criticism, with more and more video essayists popping up every month to offer their hot takes on Star Wars movies, kid's TV shows and the political ramifications of DreamWorks - but along the way, there are a few questions that maybe haven't gotten as much consideration as they deserve. I try my hand at offering an answer, to a surprisingly difficult question.

This was made as a counterpoint to my previous video, an attempt to return to less aggressively spicy takes (though, you know, I'm sure there'll certainly be some kind of response to this one regardless). I really hope you all enjoy it, it's certainly a change of pace but I'm sure you've come to expect that of this channel at this point.
As I say at the end of the video, this is also a notice that $5 patrons will no longer have their names read out loud at the end of each video - that's going to be a $15+ patron thing now, at least while the patron list continues to grow as it currently is! You still get on the credits, I just won't spend 4 minutes reading all your names out.
Next video will probably be about Steven Universe. or maybe Kentucky Route Zero. or maybe Avatar (2009). or something else. I'll think about it.
